Jackie Paine moved to Houston in the early sixties and recorded this little treat by the time he was 19 for the JETSTREAM label, which the Crazy Cajun, record industry hustler Huey P. Meaux (pick up a copy of House of Hits to find out more about him). Go Go Train was such a delicious single back in the day it landed Jackie Paine a 45 stop tour with the Stax Revue. Everyone go ahead and get on board the GO GO TRAIN!!!!

LuLu Reed was raised in the church singing gospel music. Nurtured by the choir director of her church, Professor Harold Boggs, helped her get her start on Federal Records, where she learned to sing the Devil’s hymns we know as rhythm and blues. Federal Records would go on to recognize LuLu as one of the founding Queen’s of RnB.
